Kansans Encouraged to Remove Dead Pine Trees

Trees that have died of Pine Wilt.

We have all noticed pine trees in the area that are turning brown, or are fully wilted. This is an indication of pine wilt disease. The Kansas Department of Agriculture recently recommended removal of these diseased and dead trees.
