I’m introducing a series of informative graphics with great information on critters in Kansas. These were produced by the then Kansas Fish & Game Commission, now the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism. The series, called “Something Wild” began in the early 1980s and was funded by the “Chickadee Checkoff” program. Robert F. Clarke, Ph.D., created the content. These seem very relevant to gardeners as we encounter many such animals in our yards and gardens.
Today I’m sharing a piece on the Green Cicada, or locust as we call them locally. Click on the image to see a larger version. Enjoy!!!
