“When do I plant what in my veggie garden?” “How can I have beautiful flowers through all the seasons?” Douglas County Master Gardeners will help you discover the science behind great gardens and share their gardening experience in two FREE workshops this Spring.
Gardening 101 on Saturday, April 19th from 9 am to noon will focus on annual and perennial flowers, native plants and container gardening .
Gardening 102 on Saturday, April 26th from 9 am to noon will feature vegetables, herbs and berries.
Both workshops will be held at the 4-H Fairgrounds at 2100 Harper Street in Lawrence and are open to the public without charge.
