Come join us and learn all you need to know about the Emerald Ash Borer, presented by Kim Bomberger, District Community Forester of the North Central and Northeast Districts for the Kansas Forest Service. You will learn how to identify ash trees, the Emerald Ash Borer and its life cycle. Following there will be decision about options for treatments with sources for chemical information. Most important you will learn what you can do to combat the problem and why replanting is so important.
The program runs from 10:00-11:00am in the Dreher 4-H building north room at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, 2110 Harper, in Lawrence. Open to the Public.
