Here’s a chance to learn about having a garden in a very small place!

Master Gardener Susan Phillips will be teaching a class on container gardens this Saturday, May 7th, at East Lawrence Rec Center, 1245 E 15th Street.  The class runs from 9 to 10 am.

Container gardens offer many benefits, including versatility, less disease and weeding, and accessibility-all in a small space. The class will discuss: containers, soil, sun/shade plants, watering and fertilizing.

Cost is $5.To register contact Gayle Sigurdson, lifelong recreation programmer, at (785) 832-7920 or gsigurdson@lawrenceks.org.
