Growing Growers is pleased to offer Brassicas and Other Fall Crops – a workshop designed to get you thinking about your 2016 fall production plans. We’ll be discussing various fall cropping options with an emphasis on Brassicas. Join us from 4:00-7:00 PM this Monday, June 27 at the Douglas County Extension Office located on the Douglas County Fairgrounds – 2110 Harper St. Lawrence, KS 66046. Registration is online at the link below or payment may be made at the door. Registration is $15/person.
The Master Gardeners will be here to teach us how to create our own mini gardens in containers. We’re going to be planting some of the same plants that are being grown on board the International Space Station! We’ll provide everything. Just bring yourself!
